Is Galaxy S7 Edge Waterproof After Screen Repair

My s7 border last night stopped charging. The usb port has died. Any how I took it to the Samsung store and they tested information technology and are sending it abroad for repair.
Will my telephone still be waterproof after repair I'd imagine that information technology should be. And if not, tin can I demand a new handset given it losing its ip68 rating?

If its fixed by samsung im pretty sure it'll still exist waterproof just like information technology was before.

Why don't you just ask them instead? They know better and it would be a useful info for the rest of us.

Well not much more I can do at present till I get it dorsum but will certainly exist asking and be wanting a new handset if it's not

i repaired mine at an official samsung service. they assured me that the device will "seal" as Samsung instructs (and so theoritically) it volition be waterproof. i haven't tested on my device considering even though they said it i dont know if i can trust them and throw abroad 700 euros xD

take a glass with water with you when you choice information technology up, and throw it in there in front end of them

Mine was 3 times on repair cuz '' waterproof '' first time they said to me it works like samsung said information technology will work, of form we wasn't waterproof, now I'one thousand on tertiary time sending information technology ( I Desire NEW PHONE ) and gues what? Samsung doesn't want to change it... It'southward obvious that microsd/sim slot is ****ed up and even that they don't want to change... Bought myself LG G5 and now he has defective GPS . flagships these days are ****
